We present sound transmission properties of two-dimensional arrays of rigid cylinders with a lattice of vacancies embedded. The cylinders were always placed in a triangular setting. We tried several arrays of vacancies with rectangular symmetry and diverse primitive cells. The characteristic attenuation pattern of the triangular lattice is found on every system. But we also observed new attenuation peaks that can be related with Bragg diffraction in the lattice of vacancies. It seems as if the acoustic wave detects the two symmetries at the same time. The resulting structure has been called Suzuki phase since it conceptually remembers the one discovered by Suzuki in 1961 [1]
