We compare the phenomenon of the Glory to the phenomenon of coherent backscattering in multiple scattering random media (CB). The Glory is the consequence of light scattering on single, sub-millimeter to millimeter sized spheres in exact backscattering direction. CB is the intensity enhancement in the very same direction due to the interference between each light path and its reversed path. This pair of paths always exists in a multiple scattering media. Both effects have strikingly similar properties which will be studied in more detail experimentally as well as by numerical calculations.
